MECON Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Steel, Government of India, has released Advt. No. 11.73.4.1/2026/Cont/02 for contractual engagement of experienced professionals on Full Time Fixed Tenure basis. The recruitment is for various Engineer, Executive, Officer and other posts across project locations in India. The online application process starts on 27-04-2026 and ends on 11-05-2026.

Eligible candidates will be selected through Walk-in Interview. Interviews will be conducted at Delhi, Ranchi, Kolkata and Bangalore, and the exact interview dates will be notified on the MECON career page.

Post-wise Qualification and Pay

Age Limit

• Upper Age Limit: 50 years for all posts.
• Cut-off date for age and post qualification experience is 23-03-2026.

Age Relaxation

• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
• SC / ST: 5 years
• PwD General: 10 years
• PwD OBC: 13 years
• PwD SC / ST: 15 years
• J&K domicile candidates during 01-01-1980 to 31-12-1989: 5 years
• Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India guidelines

• Metro Allowance at 2.5% of pay for metro locations.

• Company accommodation subject to availability or HRA at 5% of consolidated pay.
