IAF Group C Civilian Recruitment 2026: Apply Offline for 47 LDC, Hindi Typist & Driver Posts @ indianairforce.nic.in

Indian Air Force has released Advertisement No. 01/2026 for direct recruitment of Group C Civilian posts at various Air Force Stations and Units. A total of 47 vacancies are available for posts including Lower Division Clerk, Hindi Typist and Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade). Eligible Indian citizens can apply offline to the concerned Air Force Station/Unit within 30 days from the date of publication of the advertisement.

Candidates must send their application in the prescribed format along with self-attested copies of required certificates. The selection process will include scrutiny of applications, written test and skill/practical/physical test wherever applicable.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 25 years

Age Relaxation

• OBC: 3 years
• SC / ST: 5 years
• PwBD: 10 years, with additional relaxation for reserved category candidates as per rules
• Ex-Servicemen: As per Government rules
• Departmental Employees: Up to 40 years for UR and up to 45 years for SC/ST

The written test will be based on minimum educational qualification. The written test will carry 100% weightage. Skill, practical or physical test will be qualifying in nature wherever applicable.

How to Apply

1. Download or prepare the application form in the prescribed format.
2. Fill the application form in English or Hindi.
3. Attach self-attested copies of educational qualification, age proof, technical qualification, experience certificate, caste/category certificate and other required documents.
4. Attach two passport-size photographs.
5. Send the application to the concerned Air Force Station/Unit as mentioned against the post.
6. The envelope should be superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ______ AND CATEGORY ______”.

Important Instructions

• Applications received after the last date will not be accepted.
• Only eligible candidates will be called for written test.
• Candidates must bring original certificates at the time of test or verification.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the written test, skill test, practical test or physical test.
