Fakir Mohan University (FMU), Balasore, Odisha has released an official recruitment advertisement for filling up various Faculty Positions including Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor posts in different Post Graduate Departments. A total of 53 vacancies have been announced.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must fulfill UGC eligibility criteria as per UGC Regulations 2018 and subsequent amendments.
• Applicants must possess required educational qualifications and experience for the respective post.
• Separate applications and fees are required for each post.
• Candidates above 60 years of age are not eligible.

Educational Qualification

Professor

• Ph.D. degree in concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
• Minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
• Minimum 10 years teaching/research experience.
• Total research score of 120 as per UGC Regulations 2018.

Associate Professor

• Good academic record with Ph.D. degree.
• Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks.
• Minimum 8 years teaching/research experience.
• Minimum 7 research publications.
• Research score of 75 as per UGC Regulations.

Assistant Professor

• Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks in relevant subject.
• Must have cleared NET/CSIR NET or possess Ph.D. qualification as per UGC norms.
• Candidates with Ph.D. from top foreign universities are also eligible as per UGC rules.

• 5% relaxation in marks for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
• Relaxation applicable at Bachelor’s and Master’s level.
• Applicable as per UGC regulations.
