DESGPC Assistant Professor Lecturer Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for Adhoc Posts in DESGPC Colleges

Directorate of Education, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (DESGPC) has released Advertisement No. 395/2026 for the online recruitment of Assistant Professors/Lecturer on Adhoc Basis in DESGPC Colleges for the academic session 2026-27. Eligible candidates can apply online only through the official DESGPC website.

The online application process starts from 16-04-2026 and the last date to apply online is 06-05-2026. Candidates are advised to complete the application using a laptop or desktop computer only. The written test/interview schedule will be available on the website and Directorate’s Facebook page on 08-05-2026.

Application Fee

The registration fee for DESGPC Assistant Professor / Lecturer Recruitment 2026 is ₹500.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have minimum 50% marks in Graduation.
• Candidates must have minimum 55% marks in Post-Graduation in the relevant subject.
• Candidates appearing in the final examination of their Post-Graduation degree are not eligible.
• UGC NET / Ph.D. qualified candidates will be preferred.

For Collegiate Schools

• Minimum 55% marks in Post-Graduation in the relevant subject.
• Minimum 50% marks in B.Ed.

Language Requirement

• Candidates must have passed Punjabi up to Matric level.

Other Conditions

• Women candidates may be preferred for posts in Girls Colleges.
• Sikh candidates should not be Patit.

Salary

Salary will be paid as per management norms.

Nature of Posts

• The posts are on Adhoc / Part-time basis.
• These posts are up to the end of the Academic Session 2026-27.
• The number of posts may vary according to workload.
