Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has released Advertisement No. 05/2026 for recruitment to the post of Havildar Instructor under Bihar Home Guard Service Cadre, Home Department (Special Branch), Bihar.

• Candidates must have passed Intermediate / Class 12 or equivalent.
• The qualification must be acquired on or before 01 August 2025.

• Unreserved Female: Maximum 40 Years
• BC / EBC / Transgender Candidates: Maximum 40 Years
• SC / ST Candidates: Maximum 42 Years

The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the Physical Efficiency Test. The written examination will be qualifying in nature and will not be counted for final merit.

How to Apply

1. Visit the official website: bpssc.bihar.gov.in
2. Click on the Home Guard tab.
3. Open the link for Advertisement No. 05/2026.
4. Complete the online registration using valid mobile number and email ID.
5. Pay the application fee online.
6. Login and fill the second part of the application form.
7. Upload recent photograph and signatures in Hindi and English.
8. Submit the application form and take a printout of acknowledgement.

Important Instructions

• Only one application can be submitted by one candidate.
• One mobile number can be used for only one application.
• Application fee once paid will not be refunded.
• Wrong reservation category or incorrect information may lead to cancellation of candidature.
• Printed application form is not required to be sent to BPSSC.
