Qualification and Experience

Salary Details

1. Candidates selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET, including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE, or a selection process conducted by National Level Examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions, will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 31,000/- along with House Rent Allowance (HRA).
2. Alternatively, candidates who do not fall under the criteria mentioned in above will receive a stipend of Rs. 25,000/- along with House Rent Allowance (HRA).

Terms and Conditions

1. The appointment is strictly temporary and on a contract basis, conferring no privileges or benefits associated with regular employment. Any claims for regular employment in the Institute will not be entertained.

2. Initially, the tenure of appointment is for one year, extendable annually up to a maximum of three years (including the initial one year). This extension is subject to the satisfactory performance of the candidate, assessed annually, and the ongoing requirement of the project. The appointment may also be co-terminus with the completion of the project, whichever occurs earlier.

3. The upper age limit, qualifications, and experience will be determined as of the closing date prescribed for the receipt of completed applications.

4. The Institute reserves the right to conduct a written test to shortlist candidates for an interview if the number of candidates is substantial.

5. Age relaxation is applicable to SC, ST, and OBC candidates, as well as physically handicapped candidates, in accordance with the notifications issued by the Government of India from time to time.

6. The selected candidate will be stationed to work in IIA, Bengaluru, and may be posted anywhere in India as per the Institute's/project's requirements.

7. No travel allowance or dearness allowance will be reimbursed to shortlisted candidates for attending the interview/skill test.

8. No correspondence will be entertained with candidates who are not selected for the interview/appointment. Any form of canvassing will result in disqualification.
