Qualification

Essential Qualification for Junior Resident:

• Possession of a medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. (Candidates with qualifications in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13 (3) of the Act).
• Registration with the Central/State Medical Council is mandatory.
• Candidates applying for these positions must possess a valid qualification (pass certificate) as of the last date for the receipt of applications.

Essential Qualification for Junior Resident (Dentistry):

• Holding a Dental Degree (BDS) recognized by DCI.
• Candidates who have successfully completed BDS (including Internship) before the last date of application are eligible.
• Candidates who have completed BDS (including Internship) within the last five years will be considered eligible to apply.
• Valid Registration with State Dental Councils is a prerequisite.

Pay Scales

Age Limit

• Upper Age Limit: The maximum age for candidates is 30 years, determined as of the crucial date specified in the notification.

• Age Determination: The date of birth recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate will be the sole accepted reference for determining the age. No subsequent requests for changes will be considered or granted.

• Reserved Category Candidates: No age/fee relaxation is available to reserved category candidates applying for unreserved vacancies.

• Permissible Relaxation: Candidates may be eligible for permissible relaxation of the upper age limit as per Government of India orders on the subject. However, this is subject to the submission of documentary proof of the category under which age relaxation is sought.

How to apply

• The original application form, duly filled and signed, must be presented during the interview. Additionally, one set of self-attested photocopies of degrees, certificates, mark sheets, age proof, caste certificates, and PwBD certificate (if applicable) must be submitted. These documents must also be produced in original for verification during the interview.
• During the document verification process, a proforma/checklist for the post of Junior Resident is to be filled and submitted before the interview.

• For candidates selected for the post of Junior Resident, the original certificates, including MBBS degree certificate, Internship Completion Certificate, Qualifying degree (MBBS), Medical registration Certificate, Date of Birth Certificate/ 10th Standard Certificate, Caste Certificate, and other relevant certificates, will be verified.

Application Fee

• Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are exempted from the payment of fees.
• SC/ST category applicants are required to pay Rs. 500 + GST (18 percent), totaling Rs. 590.
• For applicants in other categories, the fee is Rs. 1000 + GST (18percent), amounting to Rs. 1180.
• The application fees must be paid through NEFT in the provided bank account. It is important to note that the application fee is non-refundable.

Terms and Conditions

• Age and other qualifications/experience will be considered as of the last date for filling the online application form.
• Only candidates who have been declared successful in their qualifying degree examination and will complete their tenure for the same on or before the crucial date will be deemed eligible.
• Meeting the prescribed qualification is a minimum requirement, and possessing it does not automatically guarantee selection.
• Canvassing of any kind will result in disqualification. Incomplete applications will be rejected, and no interim correspondence will be entertained.
• Appointees will be granted leave in accordance with the instructions issued by the Government of India.
• Private practice of any kind is strictly prohibited.
• The appointee may work in shifts and can be posted at any place in the Institute at the discretion of the MS/Dean/Executive Director.
• The appointee is expected to adhere to the rules of conduct and discipline applicable to Institute employees.
• If any information provided by the candidate is found to be false, or if the candidate willfully suppresses any relevant information to this appointment, they may be liable for removal from the service, and appropriate action will be taken by the Competent Authority.
• The decision of the Competent Authority regarding the selection of candidates will be final, and no representation will be entertained in this regard.
