NERIST Non Teaching Notification 2025 : Age Limits (As On 01 July 2025)

• Maximum Age limit for Deputy Registrar: 50 Years
• Maximum Age limit for Other Posts: 30 Years
• Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Eligibility Criteria

• Deputy Registrar: Master's degree or equivalent in any discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the CGPA/Grade 'B' in the UGC 7 points scale from a recognised University/Institute.
• Sports Officer: Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from recognized University with at least 03 years' experience in conducting sports events.
• Nurse: Intermediate (10+2 with Science) or equivalent and must have passed the examination held by the Nursing council with 3 years course in General Nursing and Mid-wifery with at least 55% marks from a recognized Board/Institute.
• Laboratory/ Tech. Assistant: A Bachelors Degree (four years) in Engineering or equivalent qualification in appropriate field with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/Institute with two year relevant experience. or Three years Diploma in Engineering/applied Science or equivalent in appropriate field with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/Institute with three years relevant experience.
• Computer Programmer: Degree in Computer Science Engineering with 3 years experience.
• Upper Division Clerk/Caretaker: Graduate in any discipline. Knowledge of computer application and typing with prescribed speed by DoPT.
• Stenographer-III: Graduate in any discipline with stenography speed having 80 w.p.m. and 40 w.p.m. in typing respectively with knowledge of computer application.
• Technician: Class X pass and with ITI/NTC in the relevant trade with 02 years' experience.
• Skilled Worker: Class X pass with ITI/NTC in the relevant trade or Class-XI (Science) Passed with at least 02 years' experience in the relevant department. In case of Physics and Chemistry the Educational Qualification would be Xth pass with any ITI/NTC.
• Sorter: Higher Secondary (12th Std.) or its equivalent from a recognized board.
• Classifier / Cataloguer: B. Lib from a recognized University/ Institution.
• Lower Division Clerk: 10+2 pass or equivalent from a recognised Board with typing speed 30 w.p.m. with knowledge of computer application.
• Driver: Possession of a valid driving license for motor cars

How to Apply NERIST Non Teaching Offline Form 2025

• Interested persons may submit their application on prescribed format as given in the website. The application must accompany with copies of all certificates in support of his/her candidature and three copies of passport size photograph (one should be pasted on the form).
• The completed applications accompanied with all above documents and a Demand Draft (Nonrefundable) of Rs. 200/- for SC/ST and Rs. 500/- for others drawn in favour of Director, NERIST and payable at SBI Nirjuli (Code No.18744) Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh should reach the Registrar, NERIST, Nirjuli, PIN -791109, Arunachal Pradesh by Registered/Speed Post only superscribing the envelope as "Application for the post of ". Last Date of receipt of completed application is 07.01.2026.

Important Instructions

• Only applications in the prescribed format will be accepted. Incomplete or late applications will be rejected without correspondence.
• Vacancies are tentative; the Institute may increase, decrease, or not fill posts. Pay levels include Government of India allowances; new appointees fall under NPS-2004.
• Applications will be scrutinized, and only shortlisted candidates (based on written exam) will be called for interview; meeting minimum eligibility does not guarantee an interview. Candidates applying for multiple posts must submit separate applications and fees.
• Short-listing criteria may vary by post; no correspondence will be entertained regarding reasons for rejection. List of eligible candidates, updates, call letters, results, and admit cards will be available on www.nerist.ac.in ; no hard copies will be sent.
• Candidates must bring original certificates during interview; only recognized institutions' degrees accepted. Incomplete forms are invalid; eligibility is determined based on the last date of application.
• SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates must attach valid caste certificates; otherwise treated as General. PwD candidates must submit valid disability certificates as per Govt. norms.
• Age relaxation for reserved categories is as per Government of India rules. No correspondence will be entertained regarding delays, interview results, or non-shortlisting.
• Government/PSU employees must apply through proper channel and submit NOC, APAR (5 years), and vigilance clearance. Applications of non-selected/non-shortlisted candidates will be kept for six months only.
• Canvassing leads to disqualification. Candidates must immediately update any change of address. No TA/DA will be provided for written exam or interview.
• Demand Draft must be dated within the advertisement period and valid for at least 3 months. Legal disputes fall under the Guwahati High Court, Itanagar Bench.
